Brutalist Hong Kong #1

A series of illustrations created for an architectural conservation public engagement campaign including public forum, walking tours and photography workshops. The campaign is an exploration and discussion of several iconic yet controversial modernist architectural pieces in Hong Kong, built between 1950s and 1980s. The illustrations epitomize the duality of these buildings, their ugliness and their beauty.
