Slash, a coffee shop by day and speakeasy cocktail bar at night, carries an inborn spirit of duality, an endeavor of seeking adequate balance and harmony between brightness and darkness, sunshine and moonshine, caffeine as stimulant and alcohol as depressant.

The identity is rooted from blatantly overlaying two contradictory characters, an all-caps industrial type and a carefree hand-written signature, in one single brandmark. The juxtaposition encapsulates Slash's spirit of duality, with the support of color and material palette tributing to the surrounding Prince Edward neighborhood, a hood with its rigorous yet ambiguous, undefined beauty.
